In the 1990s, among others, I’d portrayed, Mrs. Martin in The Bold Soprano, and Eve in The Tragedy of Men—roles that showcased my emotional depth and surrealist leanings. When I was 19 I was undressed butt naked during a dress rehearsal and so I had chosen not to act for a while. Nevertheless, my understanding of a character had been informed by my legal training at the University of Oxford where I had fallen back in love with philosophy and I’d learned, for instance, about the impossibility of taxing the rich. These studies inform my performance style attuned to causation, consequence and critical analysis.
Now I am back and currently training professionally at The Unseen Drama School in London, where my work is shaped by a commitment to both clarity and ambiguity, silence, and emotional authenticity.
I am available for stage, screen, and voice work, and welcome collaboration on projects that challenge convention, celebrate bold storytelling and/or pay the bills.
